Spring Soccer Tournament, Go Blue!

It was a beautiful day for soccer! The sky was a brilliant blue and the heat wave had finally broken the day before. We had an excellent turn out and I think most teams were happy with the outcomes of their games. I put together a slide show of some of the highlights for your viewing pleasure. It only took me about 14 hours to do it (read: what didn't she get done around the house that should have been done?) because I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and I'm a perfectionist and I'm way more stubborn than any Christian should be so I was not going to give up because I KNEW IT COULD BE DONE! And so I'll complain here that the pictures in the video are not as clear as I had hoped they'd be but if you will take the time to go to my other site and run the slide show, without sound, you can actually see all of the beautiful faces! This was our first year with FISHE soccer and we absolutely love it!
Sorry that there seems to be an abundance of U19 pictures but I'm partial to that group.

I'm so Proud!

Nathaniel and Christina are making a big move towards debt-free living so follow along as they share their story! And don't forget to pray for them- it's not easy providing for a family of 6 in NOVA with one income. http://www.natedavidscott3.blogspot.com/

The good side...

Everything has a good and bad side. I admit I've cried many a time this last year over things that have happened because of the computer. But lately I've been amazed at how great it can be. For those of you who have been following Nathan and Tricia,

you know what I mean. Although I hate the fact that their life has been in such turmoil, I think it's safe to say that God is doing something very great through them. Anything that wakes his people up and gets them praying has to have a BIG impact and it's easy to see by looking at the cluster map on Nathan's site that prayer for their family is a worldwide event. They have done more for the pro-life cause than any protesting or letter writing could do. Hopefully, many who are still under the false assumption that a "fetus" is not really a little human being will have their eyes opened by pictures of their precious baby girl.
